📍 Location: Trailside Restaurant, 33 Leisure Life Road, Greenville, Maine

📅 Date & Time: Saturday, February 8, 2025, 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Race Categories & Start Times:

  • 60-mile race: Kicks off the action at 9:00 a.m.

  • 35-mile race: Teams depart at 10:00 a.m.

  • 4-mile, 4-dog race: Starts at 11:00 a.m.

  • 1- and 2-dog Skijor race: Follows the 4-dog race at 11:00 a.m.

Insider Tip: Arrive at Leisure Life Resort by 8:30 a.m. to experience the electric energy of the teams preparing for the mass start. The 60-mile winner will even receive a custom, handcrafted knife from Castle Knives.

This isn’t just a race; it’s a scenic tour of the wild. Unique to this event, fans can follow the action as teams head north toward the AMC Maine Wilderness Lodges.

  • Greenville Hub: Watch crossings at Drew Rd, the airport, and East Rd.

  • Wilderness Path: Catch the teams deep on the KI Rd near the Appalachian Mountain Club parking area.

  • Halfway Point: Drive 12 miles down Frenchtown Rd to West Branch Pond Camps, one of Maine’s oldest sporting camps (est. 1881), where Eric Stirling and his crew will be hosting fans.
