This December, the heart of Downtown Bangor will transform into a glowing winter wonderland as the 36th Annual Festival of Lights Parade takes to the streets. Presented by the Rotary Club of Bangor, this cherished seasonal tradition is more than just a parade—it is a dazzling display of community pride, artistic flair, and the unmistakable spirit of the holidays in Maine.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, thousands of spectators will line the sidewalks to witness a shimmering procession of over 80 illuminated units, ranging from high-energy marching bands to expertly crafted floats that capture the imagination of young and old alike.
