Located on the 2nd Floor of the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel (Carrabassett, Flagstaff & Caribou Rooms), this market is presented by UpCountry Artists. Browse over 15 local makers offering everything from fine jewelry and ceramics to hand-woven textiles and woodcrafts. It’s the ultimate destination for authentic, Maine-made holiday gifts.
3:30–5:30 PM | Festive Vibes on The Beach
The heart of the village comes alive with live holiday music. Grab a hot cocoa, lean against the outdoor fire pits, and enjoy the carols.
4–5:30 PM | Jason Tardy Juggling & Stunts
Prepare to be amazed! High-energy entertainer Jason Tardy will perform gravity-defying stunts and juggling acts that keep both kids and adults on the edge of their seats.
4:00 PM | Santa’s Arrival & Photos
Look to the base of the mountain at 4:00 PM for Santa’s arrival! Immediately following, Santa will head to the Maple Room (4:15–5:30 PM) for photos. Note: Bring your own camera to capture these precious family memories!
5:45 PM | The Tree Lighting Ceremony
Gather at “The Beach” for the main event. As the countdown ends, the massive holiday tree will be set ablaze with thousands of twinkling lights, marking the true start of the season.
6:00 PM | Mountain-Side Fireworks
Look up! One of the most beloved Sugarloaf traditions, the fireworks display over the ski trails is a stunning sight that illuminates the valley in vibrant colors.
6:15 PM – Late | Live Music at The Widowmaker
The party continues with Dyer & The Daydreamers taking the stage at the Widowmaker. Enjoy the best après-ski atmosphere in Maine. (Note: 21+ only after 9:00 PM).
