The Kineo Shuttle: Your Scenic Link to Adventure

Because there is no road access to the Mount Kineo peninsula, your adventure begins at the Rockwood Public Landing. The shuttle provides a comfortable and safe 10-minute ride across the lake, offering panoramic views of the “Kineo Flint” cliffs and the surrounding Northwoods.

Operating Hours & Schedule:

The shuttle operates seasonally from May 28 to October 11.

  • May & June: Departs every two hours starting at 9 a.m., with the final return at 4:45 p.m.

  • July & August: Hourly departures from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

  • September & October: Hourly departures from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
