Prepare for an electric evening where the spirit of New Orleans meets the historic charm of the Kennebec River! On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the 2025 Hallowell Mardi Gras Ball returns to the City Hall Auditorium for an unforgettable night of music, mystery, and high-energy celebration.
This isn’t just a party—it’s a powerful mission. Hosted by Vision Hallowell and the Hallowell Pride Alliance, this legendary annual event brings the community together to dance the night away while raising vital funds for the Family Violence Project.
2025 Event Schedule: A Full Night of Festivities
The magic begins well before the first dance. Immerse yourself in the full Mardi Gras experience with this jam-packed schedule:

4:30 PM: Parade lineup at the Antiques Mall (191 Water Street).

5:00 PM: The Mardi Gras Costume Parade kicks off! Free and open to all, the procession marches North along Water Street to the corner of Winthrop Street.

6:00 PM: Doors open at Hallowell City Hall for the main event.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: The Mardi Gras Ball. Expect non-stop live music, creative costumes, and the vibrant energy of Carnival.
