Rockland: Rise and Renewal
Originally, local leaders created this marine festival to revive Midcoast Maine communities. The very first event took place way back in 1947. Since then, the festival has generated incredible support for our region. We have given more than $800,000 to Midcoast Maine communities.
The festival operates proudly as a non-profit organization. We donate all net proceeds back to our neighborhoods every year. These funds support critical local food pantries and high school sports teams. We also fund vital community service groups and local emergency services. Graduating high school seniors receive wonderful college scholarships from these proceeds. Your attendance directly helps the people who make Maine so special. Supporting the local lobster industry brings immense pride to our community.

The Big Parade
On Saturday morning, the community gathers for the magnificent big parade. Colorful floats march down the main streets of Rockland. Local marching bands fill the air with energetic music.
