šŸŽ¶ Trails End Festival 2025: Millinocket’s Ultimate Celebration of Music, Arts & Outdoor Adventure

As the crisp autumn air begins to settle over the North Maine Woods, all roads—and trails—lead to the heart of the Katahdin Region. The Trails End Festival 2025 is back and better than ever. Moreover, it is transforming downtown Millinocket into a high-energy hub of live music, artisanal crafts, and legendary outdoor spirit. This experience will last from Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, 2025.

For nearly two decades, this festival has stood as the premier celebration for the community and the weary hikers finishing their 2,190-mile journey on the Appalachian Trail. Additionally, whether you’re a local resident, a “thru-hiker” reaching your final milestone, or an adventurer seeking the perfect fall getaway, this three-day extravaganza offers an immersive experience into the soul of Millinocket.

šŸŽ¶ The Sound of the North: 2025 Music Lineup

Music is the heartbeat of the festival, with free performances echoing through Veteran’s Memorial Park all weekend long. This year’s headliners represent the very best of funk, rock, and Maine’s own Americana roots:

  • Friday, Sept 12: Get into the groove with River Bottom Funk (5:10–7:40 PM), bringing soulful beats to kick off the weekend.

  • Saturday, Sept 13: Don’t miss the nationally touring Adam Ezra Group (5:10–7:40 PM), known for their captivating rock and folk-infused performances.

  • Sunday, Sept 14: Close out the festival with Maine legends The Mallett Brothers Band (1:40–4:00 PM), a must-see for fans of alt-country and jam-style rock.

The stages will also feature incredible talent like Madelynn & Payson, New Relm, Thundering Classic Rock, and the Mark & Trisha Acoustic Duo.
