Drop In on the Legend: New England’s Premier Snowboarding Event
Snowboarders, the mountain is calling! On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the 14th Annual Sugarloaf Banked Slalom, presented by GoPro, returns to the fabled slopes of Carrabassett Valley. This high-octane, high-stakes competition is a cornerstone of Maine snowboarding culture, bringing together the fastest riders from across the Northeast for a day of pure, unadulterated speed.
Inspired by the iconic Mt. Baker Banked Slalom, Sugarloaf’s version is a true test of edge control and grit. Whether you’re chasing a podium finish, hunting for elite prizes from GoPro and Burton, or just here for the legendary après-ski energy on “The Beach,” this is the one event you cannot miss this season.
