2025 Derby Prizes:

• Grand Prizes for Largest Togue:

  • 1st Place: $1,500

  • 2nd Place: $500

The Moosehead Lake Togue Derby plays a vital role in local fisheries management. Anglers are encouraged to harvest their limit of smaller togue to help control population density, ensuring healthy growth for lake trout, salmon, and brook trout for generations to come.

Derby Details & Regulations

• Dates: Friday, January 31 (starting 12:01 AM) through Sunday, February 2, 2025 (closing at 4:00 PM).

• Weigh Stations:

  • Greenville: Bartley Event Center (241 Pritham Ave).

  • Rockwood: Moosehead Bait and Tackle.

• Hours: Friday (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM), Saturday (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM), and Sunday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

• Fishing Limit: One togue over 18 inches per person.

How to Enter

To participate, you must hold a valid ticket and follow all Maine Ice Fishing Regulations.

• Individual Ticket: $25.

• Family Ticket: $40 (covers parents/grandparents and children 17 and under).

• Youth Door Prize Raffle: $5.
