The 50th Anniversary International Seaplane Fly-In: A Milestone in the Maine Skies!
Experience the Magic of Flight where the Pavement Ends and the Adventure Begins
Get ready to look to the skies! The International Seaplane Fly-In celebrates its golden 50th Anniversary in 2024, marking a half-century of tradition in Greenville, Maine. Since its humble beginnings in 1973, this event has transformed into one of the largest and most prestigious seaplane gatherings in North America, drawing thousands of aviation enthusiasts and pilots from across the globe to the shores of majestic Moosehead Lake.
A Legacy of Bush Piloting
Founded by legendary local bush pilots to promote fellowship and unification among seaplane aviators, this non-profit event is a vibrant tribute to the rugged history of the North Woods. Today, the Fly-In showcases a dazzling array of aircraft, from vintage 1944 Grumman Geese to experimental modern floatplanes and even the world’s only airworthy Douglas DC-3 on floats.
